Bent TV: Melbourne Surge Water polo Club

During our 2015 Sports festival Bent.TV was on the ground getting to know our clubs and their members.

Today we meet the Melbourne Surge Water Polo Club and learn more about how they train.

The Surge have lots of people who are learning to play polo for the first time and building their fitness as well as more competitive players who have been playing for a long time. A good mix of this group recently took out the gold medal in the top level competition at the International Gay Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) competition in Hawaii 2011 and the World Out Games 2013 in Antwerp.

The Surge train every Sunday from 2.00 to 4.30pm at South Yarra Sports Centre, absolute beginners to Olympic superstars are welcomed.
